One flat price. No cut of the job.

Contractors are charged when you choose a membership, which is the last step of signing up on the website (the mobile app doesn't take payments). That comes before we review your company: next, from your dashboard, you add your certificate of insurance and your license — or confirm your state doesn't require one; we verify your insurance and any license you upload, typically within 1–2 business days. Paying alone opens nothing — the crew directory and full crew profiles open once you are verified, and inquiries, messaging and job posting need your membership as well. If we can't verify your company, we cancel the membership and refund every payment in full, whichever way you paid. There is no free trial: the full period is charged up front.

Contractor membership is a twelve-month commitment, whichever way you pay. The twelve months start the day you pay, and the time we spend verifying you counts toward them. You can choose not to renew at any time — there is a control on your billing page once you are verified, or you can ask us — and it takes effect at the end of the twelve months you are in, not at the end of the month. You keep full access until that date. If you pay monthly, the remaining monthly payments in the term are still due and are charged as normal; if you paid for the year up front, the months you do not use are not refunded. Before your company is first verified there are two exceptions: if we can't verify it, we cancel the membership and refund every payment in full, on either schedule; and if you close your account before we've verified you, we refund every payment in full too. Once you have been verified, neither applies — the account can't be closed until the twelve months are up (choose not to renew instead) — a later suspension, or losing verified status when your insurance lapses, is not refunded. Crews are different: the $19 a month crew workspace is month-to-month and cancellable any time.

Yes — for another twelve months, unless you turn renewal off before the term ends. Your billing page shows the date your term runs to, and that is where you choose not to renew.

No. Crews create an account, get verified, appear in the directory, receive project inquiries, bid on posted jobs and post their own worker openings without paying anything. The only thing a crew can pay for is an optional $19 a month jobs-and-payments workspace, which is a separate private tool and changes nothing about how a crew appears to contractors or how it ranks.

No, none of the three. You pay for access; what you agree with a crew is between you and the crew, and we take nothing out of it. That is the whole reason the price is a flat subscription rather than a percentage — a platform paid on the value of each hire has a reason to want your jobs to be expensive.

When you pay, and how much. Both are the same twelve-month membership and buy identical access — the same directory, the same job posting, the same integrations. Annual is $3,240/year instead of $3,600, which works out at $270/month and keeps $360 in your pocket over the year, in exchange for paying it up front and giving up mid-term refunds. The refund if we can't verify your company applies to both.

Then look before you pay. We take crews anywhere in the country, but coverage is real in some areas and thin in others, and the only honest way to tell which you are in is to look. Our public crew list at subconnects.com/crews shows verified crews — name, base city, roofing systems and ratings — to anyone, no account needed, so check your area first. If it is thin, tell us where you work and we will go recruit there, and you will hear from us when it fills in — you should not be paying for a directory that is empty where you build.

Yes. Posting jobs into SubConnects straight from Go High Level, Zapier, Make, n8n or anything else that can send a webhook is part of platform access, not an add-on. API keys are created from your dashboard once you are verified and your membership is active.
